I'm just not buyin' it

So after all those months of hating Rose (for which she was totally justified, if you ask me) Annie just suddenly turns around and loves her b/c Rose gives her some sob story about being insecure and being afraid people won't like her? How does Annie know this isn't just another one of Rose's games? And that whole thing with the graduation and wedding being on the same day? Okay, I can understand a bride not wanting to change her wedding date, but she didn't even show a tiny bit of concern over it. Just acted like, oh, blow off the graduation, whatever.
And that Umberto dude? Is it just me, or is he really annoying? And where did Simon's "friend from work" suddenly pop up from? And while we're on random questions, where the heck is Mary? Apparently they're not planning on bringing Jessica Biel back for the series finale. I know there were issues with her, but you wonder if it was even considered. It's hardly like Charmed not bringing back Shannen Doherty (sp?). First place, the actress has a long standing reputation for being difficult, and it seems like none of her costars want to be in the same room with her, and secondly, her character is DEAD. (Okay, yeah, it's Charmed, so that hardly matters.) But still 7th Heaven is all about the family bond, and what? they've just written off Mary? I'm not buyin' it.
