regurgitated livefeed

Monday, 21 April 2008

There's a tiny bit of excitement building.  In the house they're hearing the BB theme music (as I believe they always do on liveshow days).  We're still seeing them bee-bop around for now.  At some point the feeds will go to flames/trivia.  The HGs will probably get some sort of run through of the HOH comp.

And at some point they'll  have a "liveshow"...or rather a "live-to-tape" show of the POV ceremony and eviction.  The feeders know that Ryan won the POV, is likely to keeps the noms as they are, and Adam is likely to vote out Sheila.  The HGs all pretty much know all that too.  The TV-only viewers know none of that.

And at some point, they'll start the final HOH endurance comp.

Last night, the BB9 refeeds started.  Apparently, Real is claiming they started now b/c they need to have time to finish before BB10 starts on July 13.  I call BS on that....if my math is correct...the BB9 feeds started on Feb. 12th  They'll end on April 27th...that's 74 days.  If the refeeds started on April 27th, 74 days later would be....July 10th.

Things that make you go "hmmmm....."

There's a theory that the refeeds started now so we'll have something to watch for the next few days, and that they'll block the feeds until after Wednesday's liveshow.  So we won't see the end. comp., we won't know who wins part I or part II, and we won't know for sure who goes tonight.  Basically, we'll be in the same boat as the TV-only viewers.

And then we'll get 4 days of the Final 2 hanging out in the house alone?!  You've got to be kidding me.  If that's the plan, I won't be happy.  Watching the endurance comps is one of the best parts of having the livefeeds.  And knowing who won comps is NBD.  We always know and we still watch the show.  And what about Showtime?  Will BBAD be some replay of earlier in the season tonight and tomorrow.  That's dumb too.

Personally, I don't really expect them to block us for 2 days.  They used to do that for double evictions, but I'm pretty sure they got a lot of flack for it, and as I said yesterday, they seem to have changed the policy in recent seasons.  I wouldn't be buying it all if it weren't for the refeed thing.  But as always....we'll know when we know.  By ShowtimeTime at the latest.

Even though I will be bitter, I'll probably watch the refeeds if they do block us.  I missed a lot the first week, and frankly it's always more interesting at the beginning than at the end.  It's kind of fun to review...to realize who gained weight, who changed their tune, to see the long departed, etc.  But I'll still be pissed if we are robbed of the last endurance comp.

Based on some HG comments, there's another theory that they're doing the "liveshow" starting at 9 for ShowtimeTime.  I find it hard to believe Julie wants to work that late.  But on the other hand, it's after 3 and we're still seeing them laying around doing nothing.  If they're going to start at the typical time of 5, BB needs to get this show on the road PDQ.  I would believe they're doing the "liveshow" from 8-9 so the endurance comp. will be just starting when Showtime starts (and the feeds come back)....now that would be cool.

loopy loop

Sunday, 20 April 2008

Draw whatever conclusions you will from the fact that I haven't posted since Natalie was evicted...really it's half that the feeds got dull as soon as she was gone, and half being distracted by my other life.

So, here's where we are with the Final 4.

little table

Ryan won HOH on a total guess, and quite possibly an attempt to throw it.  For most of the game it seemed that Ryan and Adam were both being incredibly stupid in their answers.  Then when the mystery pre-existing relationship question came up, the obvious answer was "fiction."  Ryan said he guessed "fact" b/c he knew it wasn't obvious, wasn't what Sharon would say, and it was his only chance to win.  Then his answer on the tie-breaker was way off, but he won since Sharon clearly misunderstood the question (she didn't get what "combined" meant).

ry

Then Ryan chalked up another win with the POV.  It sounds like the basis of that comp was the kind of stuff that Jedi drilling would have helped with, but of course, nobody does that this year.  So Sharon and Sheila are nomed and likely to stay that way.  Ryan's in a great position.  He's still playing all sides, and it's Adam who has to do the dirty work of kicking someone.

boys

For his part, Adam's pretty much still just Adam.  He's saying he's going to kick Sheila, but who really knows.  The eviction is Monday, so maybe we'll get some excitement and last minute campaigning tonight and tomorrow.

ad

Sheila and Sharon continue their loops of complain, complain, boring story, complain.  They still complain about how much they hate Natalie,  Sheila keeps reminding us she's a single frickin' Mom (oddly she seems to have stopped mentioning her age since her b-day).  Sharon keeps screeching at George and Skippy (yet it never occurs to her that they had a prior relationship).

And then they all lay around and sleep/sulk.

sleepy

I'm pretty much over all of them, and would rather just watch the guinea pigs at this point.  They've been told "liveshow" tomorrow, and it seems they're already on lockdown for the building of the endurance comp.  Though BB has a history of blocking the feeds for days on end when it's a double-eviction week, they seem to have gotten better in recent years (BB7 we were back on after Howie left on a Friday night).  They're also pretty good about showing endurance comps on the feeds.  At worst they'll have to be back on by 9PM BBT for ShowtimeTime.

little girl lost

Tuesday, 15 April 2008

I'm not sure who the "girl" in the subject line is...Natalie?...Sharon?...me?

nat    shar

I'm so confused.  I thought Natalie was a goner for sure once she lost the veto.  But in the last couple days it has been sounding like Ryan and Adam were considering keeping her.  Or maybe they're just saying that?  It only takes one of them to be full of shit and Sheila will break a tie and kick Nattie.

bitch-slap

I'd give you a better update as to what's going on if I had a clue.  Someone is leaving tomorrow, Natalie or Sharon.  We'll know when we know.  Odds are slightly more in favor of kicking Natalie.  On the other hand, Tuesday's show was very pro-kick-Nat, and they often try to misdirect us.  We'll get a better clue with the lead-in to the liveshow.  Despite the Sharon-logic of "I can't win" it's really Nat that can't win.  The boys are starting to figure this out, and starting to figure out that they're best chance of being 1-2 together is F3 w/them and Natalie.  And since Sheila can't play in the next HOH and is unlikely to win POV, she's got a good chance to be kicked next.  And odds are better for that w/Natalie than with Sharon.

 F3

In other news, Sheila built and Alex-doll, and they celebrated her birthday with way-overused decorations and gifts that she already owned.

bday    alexdoll

I'll jump up on my soapbox for a minute.  Big Brother, dude? WTF? You're a freakin' TV show on CBS and you can't buy a new birthday banner?  And you wrap up HGs personal property and pretend it's a "gift"?  How ghetto is that?  If you don't want to celebrate hamster b-days, just tell them (and us) that upfront.  And what the hell is wrong with you that you don't want to celebrate someone's birthday?

WWJD

Saturday, 12 April 2008

Early Friday morning, after the veto comp., I noticed Natalie wandering through the house alone.  The rest of the hamsters were up in HOH totally trashing her (minus veto-winner Adam, who was in the DR).  I couldn't help be reminded of Janelle toward the end of S6.  She's not perfect, but she's nowhere near as bad as the others say.  Their real problem with her is that they know she can beat them, so they want her gone.

all alone

sharon sheila

So, what would Janelle do?  Well, first place, she would have won the veto.  The veto comp. was some sort of morphomatic variant.  Apparently there were bodies involved this time, not just faces, and there was a mention of Evel Dick.  Also there was some sort of puzzle involving George and Skippy, and that's what threw Natalie off.  She said many times that once she "figured out the clue with the guineas" she was done quickly.  But her overall time was over 10 minutes.  Sounds like Ryan and Adam were in the 2-3 minute range, with Adam winning.  It was nice early morning show for us East Coasters when the feeds came back on around 4:30 AM BBT.  Adam was happy and relieved to have won.  Natalie was not thrilled with herself, but didn't turn it into anything bad about the rest of them.  And we got a little oopsie with a flash of the DR couch.

happy nattie  happy adam dr

So, what else would Janie do?  Well, she probably wouldn't have handed an HOH to one of the nasty witches who was trying to kick her.  And she wouldn't have fallen for Sharon's "be a true Christian" BS.  During the HOH comp, I thought that was particularly nasty of Sharon.  After sitting around doing nothing the whole game, and dropping out of the comp. just minutes in, she has the nerve to stand there and guilt Natalie into giving it to Sheila?  Telling her "don't do what James did to you" really should have reminded Nat that she can't trust anyone in this game.  She could have had the HOH, and sure, Sheila would be hating her, but that's happening anyway.

nat shar she

But, it's all over and done with.  Adam will veto himself, and Natalie will be the repl-nom.  Sheila is holding to her deal with Ryan, though neither is seeming to hold to their deal with Natalie.  Part of the Sheila-HOH deal was that if Nat/Ryan had to go up, the other would vote to keep whoever was up, and if it came to a tie Sheila would keep Nat/Ry.  The Sheila part is highly unlikely, since her new hobby is sitting around with Sharon and trashing Nat.  (Yet another BB6 deja vu...they sound like Maggie/April/Ivette trashing Janelle....)

st. sharon st. sheila

There's a chance that Adam will be Natalie's Howie, and decide to save her, maybe even bringing along his buddy Ryan.  In a way that's the smarter move for Adam/Ryan.  If Nat stays and wins the next HOH she would very likely target Sheila.  If Sharon stays and wins the next HOH she would almost certainly target Adam.  Even though Sharon's the one anyone can beat in the end, it doesn't do them much good if they're not there next to her.  Keeping Nat is probably Adam/Ryan's best bet to get to the end together.

3 amigos nattie

There was some oddness/technical difficulties on the feeds last night, giving us the BB8 feeds-down screen for 30-45 minutes.  But it was sort of a nice break from the nastiness.  We come back to find more of the same.  Adam's scratching his ass, Sharon's chewing on her lip, Sheila's spewing bile, and Ryan and Natalie are being Ryan and Natalie.

down scratcher chomper

For now, Adam and Ryan are telling everyone what they want to hear, and saying to each other that they'll wait until after repl-noms on Sunday to decide how they want to vote.  Natalie knows something's not quite right, but she's not letting it get her down too much.

Who's mental in this house?

Thursday, 10 April 2008

LOL....well, all of you.

adnat  all of them

That was Natalie's line tonight.  Her point was that the next HOH comp. will be "mental" and that Sheila ought to target Adam this week, b/c he's a strong possibility to win next week.  Of course, since Sheila feels pretty good about her deal with Adam, that probably won't work with her.

peace out

Sheila did nom Sharon and Adam, but they're all plotting against Natalie.  Adam seems a little peeved, but that could be a bit of an act.  Sharon, of course, is used to it.  And fine with it.

adam  sharon, again

They've been on lockdown for a while, and they're thinking maybe a late night POV.  That could be and that cold mean morphomatic (I know, I know, I've said that before).  I hope it is, and I hope Natalie wins.  I hope Nat wins whatever it is, but morph could be fun for Tuesday's show.

natalie

That's all for now...sorry it's not much, but there's not much going on.

deal me out

Wednesday, 9 April 2008

After one of the dullest endurance comps in BB history, Natalie and Ryan handed HOH to Sheila.  Sheila promised Ryan he was safe from, as she would say the "git-go."  I'm not even sure why he hung in as long as he did.  Sharon was down before the feeds were even on.  And then she was a total bitch to Natalie at the end of the comp. guilting her into giving it to Sheila.

ryan sheila natalie the gang

She never made a clear promise to Nat.  But Natalie said she "didn't want to be a James" and deprive Sheila of her HOH goodies, like James did to Nat with the disco ball comp.  She would be wise to remember though, that James made and broke a deal, and Natalie could very well be out this week, thanks to this move.  Who knows, maybe Natalie will win POV, maybe Sheila and Ryan will keep the deal (the actual deal was that Sheila would nom Adam and Sharon and if one of them won POV, Ryan or Nat would go up, but the other would agree to vote to keep the repl-nom, and Sheila would break the tie to keep them if necessary).

she's down

So, King James is dead, long live....Queen Sheila?  We can only hope that Sharon goes this week.  The segment with her family was cute and all, and she seems like she'd be a nice person to know in real life, but she's not fun as a hamster.  Sorry, Sharon.

sharon

That's all for now, folks.

give me a freakin' break

Tuesday, 8 April 2008

What the heck is up with the James-lovefest on the BB TV show?  Tonight we had a good 10 minutes of "James is so great, James is so sensitive."  Meanwhile he's going around lying about what Natalie has said to him (to give them a tiny bit of credit, they did briefly air what she actually said in direct contrast to what he claimed she said), running around in his underwear screaming at people, and generally plotting to make everyone's life as miserable as he can.

d.u.n?

As part of his "Torment Nat" plan today, James decided to get naked and lie down next to her.  There was some further harassing behavior, encouraged by the other boys, but it didn't last long.  The DR seems to have suggested that he remain at least partially clothed, and keep "private activities" somewhat private.  And it doesn't seem to have bothered her much...she's just back to reading her Bible.

st. nattie

I've really got nothing else.  It's almost a guarantee that James will be kicked tomorrow.  He might create one last set of fireworks before he goes, but I'm not convinced.  I'm kind of hoping for a fast-forward, and kick Sharon right out after him.  She's completely useless in there.  Then we can watch the chaos as "Team Christ" implodes.

I'll leave you with today's "pick 6 pics."

big she

I have no idea what is going on with Sheila here.  I caught this last night and figure she's impersonating a beaver or an angry chipmunk or something.

shar-bear

And ditto for Sharon.  Maybe she wants to be just like the "big She"? But at least she has her weird blue shawl/blanket thing.  What is up with that?

robe dissed

And speaking of odd sartorial choices...I didn't get any caps of the dis-robed James, so we'll go back a few days to something that's been making me scratch my head a little...what is with James wearing Chelsia's robe?  Did she leave it for him?  Is it like Daniele with Nick's bandanna last year?

rye-bread

Ryan's neck must be feeling better...at least he can support the chef's hat.

mom said no

Here's a question: has Adam cut back on the nose picking and hands down the pants and such since getting the letter from his mom?  Or am I just becoming desensitized to it?

movin' on up

Has Natalie figured out that once Operation-Kick-James has happened, she moves up to Everyone's #1 Target? Everyone has deals with everyone, but somehow she's the only one who is being universally accused of "playing all sides."
